Take a break from the heat and enjoy the photography of Daniel Perry in The Gallery through the end of July. From August through December 2025 The Gallery will be closed while the Library undergoes renovations. Locally based wildlife photographer, Daniel Perry, is an internationally recognized conservationalist. He is currently photographing wildlife in Madagascar. In his own words, “Madagascar is a crazy place in which almost 90% of all plant and animal species are found nowhere else in the world. I will be traveling around the country to photograph many lemurs along with other wildlife from the desert southwest to the eastern rainforests and the western deciduous forests. So much of Madagascar's wildlife is under threat because it is endemic and can be found nowhere else- the land that they live on is very valuable.”
Daniel’s conservation efforts have inspired international travel, photographing wildlife in South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Costa Rica, Germany, The Netherlands and throughout Canada and the United States. He has photographed many different species, as well as worked at the Care For Wild Rhinoceros Orphanage in South Africa. Daniel believes some of the best wildlife conservation can come from showing people the beauty of this world that is being taken advantage of.
