+ Museum Passes

All our museum passes are available for reservation using our online reservation system.

+ VHS to DVD Conversion

You may drop off a VHS tape to be converted onto a DVD-R or as a digital MPEG file. The service itself is free, but we will charge $1.00 for each DVD-R disc used. Our full policy is available here.

+ Laptop Lending

Laptops may be borrowed by Glen Rock library card holders 18 years of age and older in good standing (i.e. no fines over $10.00 outstanding) for use IN LIBRARY. Borrowers are required to sign a user agreement and leave a photo I.D. at the reference desk.

+ Home Delivery

Any person residing within the Borough of Glen Rock who is unable to come to the library because of limited mobility, illness, or handicap may request homebound delivery. A Glen Rock Library card is required. A homebound patron who does not yet have a library card must obtain one by providing proof of residence within the Borough.

+ Talking Books & Braille Center

Patrons with issues related to visual impairment, physical impairment, or a reading disability may qualify for free services from the Talking Books and Braille Center of NJ.

Membership includes a free audiobook player and audiobooks delivered to your home. Other materials include large print children's and young adult books, audiobooks for all ages, and more.

+ Quiet Study & Meeting Rooms

We have two meeting rooms. Quiet Room 1 can accommodate up to four people; Quiet Room 2 can seat up to two people. Both are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

+ FREE Resources for Library Patrons

Through BCCLS, Glen Rock residents have access to digital resources to download and stream for items such as eBooks, audiobooks, music, tv shows, and movies.

Our cardholders also have access to a collection of proprietary databases that can be accessed online with a valid library card. These databases include magazine, newspaper, and reference articles, provide in-depth research resources, and span a wide variety of subjects including biography, business, history, literature, reader's advisory, and more.

Flash drives (2GB) are available at the Circulation Desk for $6

+ Purchasing Disc Cleaning Service

Disk cleaning for CDs, DVDs, Video Games, and Blu-Ray for $1

+ Printing, Copying, & Scanning

Printing on standard paper is available via our public computers or wirelessly from a smartphone or personal laptop.

  • Scanning documents at the Library is free
  • Copying and printing in black and white: $0.15
  • Copying and printing in color: $0.25

The Gallery enhances the Library and at the same time, serves as an opportunity for artists to display their works of art. It is managed by the Friends of the Library. For more information, see the Friends page.
