New Jersey Makers Day is a celebration of maker culture across the Garden State. This all-ages event connects individuals with libraries, schools, businesses, and independent makerspaces that support making, tinkering, crafting, manufacturing, and STEM-based learning.
Students in grades 6-12: Volunteers are needed forβ¦
Pre-Event Help - Measure, cut, count, organize, etc. supplies for event activities
Event Set Up - Help move tables & chairs, set out tablecloths, supplies, etc.
Event Help - Sign up for a station. You will be teaching and assisting attendees with activities
Post-Event Help - Help clean up: moving tables & chairs, tidying up the event area, returning the library back to its normal setup

Glen Rock residents of all ages are invited to participate in our first annual Glen Rockers Make! special one-day-only exhibit! Show off your craft or hobby at this year's New Jersey Makers Day on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
- Limited to 1 submission per person
- Must fit within a 2'x2' table-top space
- Deadline to register is Monday, 3/2
- More details will be sent to participants by Friday, 3/6
- Drop off will be between 10am-6pm on Friday, 3/20
- Exhibit installation will take place throughout the day on Friday, 3/20 as submissions are received
- Items can be picked up beginning Saturday, 3/21 at 3:00pm; all items need to be picked up by 5:00pm on Wednesday, 3/25
- Submissions will be capped at 100

Join us for our popular New Jersey Maker's Day celebration! NJMD is a state-wide initiative for public libraries to promote STEAM activities. This all-ages event will have many fun and interesting projects to explore.
To ensure the best possible experience for everyone, we are offering 45 minute pre-registered timeslots. Registration opens Sunday, February 15 at 10:00am
