In 1942 the FBI investigated Carl Schiphorst, a Glen Rock resident and leader of Bergen County's German American Bund chapter. Schiphorst was suspected of being a Nazi spy. Local Historian and Glen Rock Police Detective James Calaski reveals the full history including what became of the Schiphorst family after repatriation. Figure & Still Life Drawing: Beginners & Advanced

Back by popular demand, this hands-on class will motivate students to see, experience and experiment with gesture and expression. With an emphasis on light, students will bring their drawings to life by combining various grades of graphite, charcoal and white chalk. Materials will be provided, and all skill levels are welcome. Students are encouraged to bring objects with linear qualities (yarn, twig, wire, string, etc.), as well as three ‘sentimental objects’ with 3D textures.
